He cared for, provided for and protected his five children during that whole time.

He worked hard every day to make himself and his family better people.

He obeyed the law and lived an honest life plain and open to his neighbors and helped them when they needed it if he could help. He did not exploit them or victimize them.

What was his super power? Honesty. Integrity. Character. Submission before His Creator.
