Sometimes, if you need to decompress, I find that slowing down and watching a creator's YouTube channel as a Master Craftsman works. For Me, this is relaxing as sitting in meditation or sound therapy.

Today, I have on tap a Tobacco Pipe build that has a great finish. This is a step-by-step build of a Churchwarden Pipe.

Runtime is: 45 minutes.

I use a shallow drop(bent) pipe with a medium sized bowl similar to the image below;

I REALLY like the aromatic tobaccos, with my favorites being listed below;

Did you take the time to watch at all? Or maybe just scrub to the end to see the finished product?

The pipe turned out really well.

I did not. My current pipe is what I call a "working mans pipe" low end $25.00 type pipe. Some of those pipes I have seen through the years can cost $300.00 easily, with some pipes even more expensive than that! As a kid I developed a taste for both cherry & maple nut ice cream. As I got older I had to lay off the carbs, hence the aromatic cherry/rum & maple pipe tobaccos. Some of those pipes are truly works of art!

I've been doing a pipe for about 30 years, ever since quitting cigarettes.
Early on I tried many flavors and cuts of tobacco, and settled on Vanilla Cavendish. When burned still has same aroma as when fresh in pouch. Also tends to burn cool and have the flavor of it's smell. Other types often seem to burn hot and don't smell so well as when fresh~unburned.
Occasionally I try a blend of sorts, but few have satisfied.

I would never smoke a pipe, but I like the smell.

The smell depends upon the type of tobacco.
When I smoked cigs, had a tendency to smoke down to the filter. Relit cigs don't taste as well as fresh. Also, the process is to inhale (deeply) into lungs.

With a pipe, I often just put a small pinch in the bowl, a couple~few puffs are enough to satisfy the "craving". I try not to inhale, just 'roll around in the mouth for the flavor', but nicotine is still absorbed through the saliva glands of the mouth, and I sometimes inadvertently shallow inhale.
