As many of you already know I am kind of sarcastic, but at the same time I attempt to deal with big topics partly with humour.
I am feeling that itch to lose another election campaign. I lost four of them back home in Nova Scotia, Canada but now that I am living in Paris, Ontario I believe that I can really accomplish something with my next failed political campaign.
I believe that this other idea that I have going could actually get some pretty serious attention:
I had the privilege to teach English as a Second Language in Quito, Ecuador during 2001 and 2002. After seeing real poverty with my own eyes outside the City of Quito, I returned home to Canada determined to at least make some noise about what I believe is the core problem with our economies.

Several years ago you could earn Calgary Dollars and use them to pay a set percentage of your property taxes.
If I remember correctly it may been up to ten percent of your property taxes?
