I always thought the fellow's name was "Yo Ma Ma"

Learn something new every day, I had heard the name wrong, so I assumed he was an African American cellist from his ethnic sounding moniker.

Apparently he has a new project and is still playing the cello.

I had the pleasure of hearing Yo Yo Ma play with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra some years back. He is one of the greats.
