Watch this young Canadian, Emily. She is remarkable. How is that? She remembers everything. If you had kids, would you want them to have HSAM? Does HSAM mean one is brilliant or a Genius? I am interested in thoughts of the inhabitants of this forum. This has interested scientists studying Dementia.

Apparently ... this is a psychological disability ... in that his condition interferes with an individual's ability to perform one or more basic life functions ... bathing, cooking, getting dressed and the like ... analogous to a full hard drive ...

Rare ... only 100 documented cases ... I reckon photographic memory is something different ...

Not me ... I'm way too much of a pot-head to remember what isn't important ... I set a timer if I have more than three fires burning at once ... just to be safe and all ...

That's nothing, my wife can remember the first things that pissed her off during our marriage, and the subsequent 23,456 other things afterward.

I have a top memory but not photographic .
The main reason it isn't is because I have a Record/ Delete switch which I use immediately and unconsciously .

This is likely Emma's problem .

She has no Record /Delete switch and just records .

My guess is that she will not be a good discriminatory judge and not a good dot connector as you need to be to be a critical Thinker ( discriminator ) rather than just a Regurgitator .
