I'm looking at various non-residential REITs that might get side swiped by the residential REITs. Any names that might get hit that look like good buys. Any suggestions?

Why would REITs have to 'tank'? Only those over-extended in debt and get caught in a mark to market squeeze and forced to pay margin calls will lose money. Many own properties that will always have value just because of their location; others are speculative gambling games; just learn how to read their assets and liabilities, is all. Some properties will lose 'equity' values but still generate cash flow, so unless you're flipping properties with high debt ratios they're fine. Not using the bogus GAAP rules post-1981 to determine your real equity for your personal finances will keep you stable.
