I live within half an hour of about 5 enclosed malls. built in 1968, 1973, 1980, 1988, and 1999. I might be forgetting some.

There is one 20 minutes from my home. Once the bus route dropped off there, hoards of young, rowdy, violent black kids started hanging out. People stopped going. Then internet-shopping came. I visited a few years ago out of curiosity. I'm shocked it still exists considering the anchors are gone and half the stores are gone.
