Spending and government growth? W added a prescription drug welfare "benefit" to Medicare, created the TSA, signed a $250 billion Christmas tree of government spending called a "Transpiration" bill, signed a bill which restricted political speech going into elections, created the no child gets ahead bill with Ted Kennedy, never vetoed a spending bill and proposed government budget increases every year that increase spending in every real way (inflation, economic growth, etc.).
Military? Obama continued W's timeline in Iraq, expanded Afghanistan, attacked Libya and saber rattled in Syria and Egypt among others. As for W, he held back the military because of criticism. Both used the military extensively, yet aren't really committed to winning, just perpetual war.
Morality? What difference is there at all? Neither has done anything to reduce Federal ownership of our bodies, neither has addressed the war we are losing the worst now, the war on drugs.
Energy? Financial services? Sure, Obama is more malignant in demogging those industries, but what favors did the "MBA" President ever do them?
Both signed TARP.
What's the difference? Either way? Sure, what they say is different. But how was for his speeches Bush any friend of economic liberty, and how is Obama any different in what he actually does?
