We certainly do not not have to worry about them though, as Americans are not welcome in most European countries.

Well, I don't know what European countries you've been visiting but, prior to this whole coronavirus nonsense, I was traveling pretty extensively throughout Europe and found what you say to be absolutely false...

I haven't left this continent since1996 or 1997. You got remember, it wasn't that long after the Reagan had convinced the "Soviets to tear down that wall" and then His Vice President George H W Bush, elected president, used key ally relationships with England's Thatcher to execute a successful well supported international coalition, short duration, limited scope war and pullout in Iraq, that impressed the whole world, followed up by slick Bill continuing the "No Fly policy" that was very effective at keeping the peace, until the son-of-Bush FKd it all up.

The funny part is that picture was taken in England, and no one really gives a fuck what they think...
We have them here too

True.

However, the picture posted here was taken in England and, well, nobody gives a fuck what they say...
That is true. Funny though. The President of the United States has usually be respected, if disagreed with in most previous administration, especially in NATO countries. Trump is not exactly an inspiring leadership figure abroad, except maybe inspiring disdain for himself and our country. We certainly do not not have to worry about them though, as Americans are not welcome in most European countries.

That is a complete lie. We go to Europe every year. The only place Americans aren't welcome is the Turkish part. And even there so long as you spend money and stay discreet we are tolerated.

That "tolerated" is pretty funny. What I was referring to was travel restrictions on Americans during the Covid Pandemic. We are now, not only the ugly Americans, but now the diseased non-public health compliant Americans.

Been to England, specifically London. Did not strike me as anti-western democracy, unless you are talking about a Turkish enclave withing the city that I did not vist. If you are talking about Turkey, itself, I have never been there, but consider it a toilet, more properly aligned with Russia than western democracies. Remember when they worked with Russia to get trump to pull off our troops on the boarder so they could attack our allies? The Turkey, Russia, trump coalition sucks, and I doubt any country in the free world approves of it.

I would rather have a President who served the interests of me and my country pissing off the Globalists than a President earning the praise of the globalists for selling out me and my country.

Why don't you?

The way he goes about it, the damage to American institutions, the new anti-democratic pro-strongman/dictator/communist regimes he chooses to admire and support, the trade war he started having put farmers on the endangered list choking their markets and treating them like socialist collectives under government control and support rather than private business entrepreneurs. He is a joke, a jerk and known to suck around the world and we are diminished by his leadership. You know, reasons like that.

Years ago I found a variation of that joke on the internet. Where the lost person in the balloon was Management, and the person giving the directions was an Employee.
So I printed the joke and thumb tacked it to the bulletin board outside of my boss's office.
It hung there for about a week before my boss saw the joke and read it. He was a thin skin type of person and demanded to know who had the audacity to post this joke about him. He possibly would have fired the the guilty person.
I had made sure no one saw me put the joke on the bulletin board, so the case went unsolved. But was a topic of discussion among my coworkers for years as to who did it? ...

Good move. I also like jokes with logical transportability, to lampoon other subgroups, people or organizations. :)

You're not strong on geography are you?

I'm talking about Istanbul, once known as Constantinople, and Byzantium before that.

Indeed it is. It's time for the rest of the world to step up. We've been footing the bill for long enough.

Who said anything about isolation?

It sure wasn't me.

I am talking about the whole country of Turkey under the present government. You liking one city in that country does not give the country redeeming social value to the world under the present government, in my opinion. Personally think we ought to pull our nuclear defensive assets out of that toilet country and properly distance ourselves from that NATO member, no longer properly aligned with NATO.
