I’ve been reading the forums for a while and decided to finally sign up. I’m based in Atlanta and primarily interested in the Economics and Politics sections.

My background is in data analysis. I’ve become pretty obsessed lately with tracking how institutional money and politicians move their capital before major news breaks. It’s pretty eye-opening (and frustrating) to see how the "Smart Money" moves months before the public knows anything.

I spend a lot of my free time digging through SEC filings (13Fs) to see what the big funds are actually buying versus what they say on TV. It’s amazing how much the data contradicts the headlines.

Looking forward to some good debates and sharing what I find in the data.
