How Trump’s personal grudges are holding up a new government funding deal
Trump’s feud over money for a Colorado research facility was the final straw in failed December funding negotiations.
Since Trump is upset with the governor of Colorado, it appears that another government shutdown is on the horizon. Despite the voters always, and rightly so, blaming Republicans for government shutdowns, that does not faze Trump. He will not back down in the face of Democrat demands but will continue to stand tall, no matter the cost. Of course, that's one of the main reasons his cult loves him so.
It seems that one of Trump's January 6 insurrectionists is housed in a Colorado prison, and Trump wants her released, so failing that, he wants to close a Boulder, Colorado research facility. Well, as he is going to find out, the Democrat governor of Colorado is no slouch, so we'll see who blinks first.
With the mid-terms fast approaching, it looks like Trump is prepared to go it alone, without support from the House and Senate. We'll see how far his stubbornness gets him.
Bigly!!!
