Hearing problems at the eye doctor

I had to get a routine eye exam today. While I was waiting in the lobby, there was a little old man, probably in his late 80's, waiting for his wife. About ten minutes later she came walking out and sat down. They started talking and he asked her, "Well, what did the doctor say?" She turned and replied, "I don't know. I didn't hear a word that he said." I laughed for twenty minutes.
