Should Israel now go after the leaders of Iran, and if so, does this mark and end of the leaders of countries sending their populace out to die for their own political ambitions?

This (at first) looked like a stupid question - an old and stupid question until I thought about it for a while. During my lifetime I have heard (and said) things like "Leaders should stand toe to toe and fight it out amonst themselves" or "Wars should be fought on the chess board by the leaders of the pertaining countries". So, your question is not something new. But unfortunately the answer is "no".

Should 7 foot Jabeer Hoglanavich be allowed to play for the Celtics despite him coming from Bosnia and should Quentin Garcia be allowed to play for the New York Yankees despite him coming from the Domenican Republic? I know it's not the same thing but it won't take long before it is the same thing. "Pitch hitters"and "stand ins" because Hitler was suffering from Parkinson's and Rosenfeldt was confined to a wheelchair and Churchill was over-weight and Stalin had a withered arm .....

Time to bring peace to the world. The resources wasted in the past decade alone could have lifted humanity out of poverty....the idea that so much energy has been spent for destruction. Is unspeakably obscene.

I'll say! Without the "waste" (as you call it) poverty never would been a reality in the first place. Those resources were not spent in indifference to poverty - it was spent to intentionally create poverty.

He was the bravest and most intelligent man who had the highest risk to die in a battle if his best comrades (honorful knights) did not protect him.

What "evolved" is a rat in a bunker giving commands from a mentally sick Czar who steels the children of mothers educating them to be murdering slaves and/or child soldiers.
