Actually, Jesus took upon himself the sins of the world in the Garden of Gethsemane. He then died so he could give us his grace or gift, the resurrection. Salvation isn't grace from sin. It's that we passed our first estate while in heaven as spirit children of our heavenly parents. We were promised if we did, we would also receive our resurrection.
