Since Sept they should have been taking care of repairing the water and sewer lines, which got damaged by the Israeli damage. One could argue the Israelis should't have damaged them in the first place, but having broken the pipes, it was imperative on Hamas to do something about it.
But they spent the time repairing the terror tunnels, ignoring the sewers. Well, now that has bit them in the ass. The tunnels are getting flooded out, as is the rest of Gaza. Four days of torrential rains nave left the sewers overflowing and Gaza in a horrible mess.
It is raining like crazy in Israel too, of course. Jewish sanitation is taking care of it.
The average citizen of Gaza suffers, the Hamas leadership lives easy, and the rain comes down.
