Have you ever thought how blessed we are to have trees? Trees are excellent diners on CO2. We have nothing to worry about climate changing. For example, in the East it is very cold. In Nebraska they have had recent sudden fires burning up fields and fences.

Now compare that to this photo taken in China. Do they worry about fires? Does it look like they fear climate?

The problem is that most nations would need to plant trillions of trees each to make an impact. The public would have to be convinced to shrink their footprint and build structures up or down, rather than spread out.
Brazil's Amazon rain forests are considered the "lungs of the world," and its government has placed bans on deforestation, coupled with fines, but it still goes on. Wealthy individuals in the United States have been buying up parcels of land there in an effort to stem the deforestation, but the illegal loggers are persistent.
Trees that produce fruit have been getting planted in desert areas near areas that still have some modest forests, but it's slow work and having some success.
