It comes from BBS and refers to the UK but, as usually happens, it's just a scientific study – until the politicians get it! Can you see the time when those who think they know better than you decide this is the way to reduce obesity? Okay, so it's just a story but it's certainly worth thinking about. Haven't you gotten the memo, it's equality of health and the government is going to redistribute it.
 
I hate to say it but once the public accepted that the government had the right to prohibit alcohol and then drugs, we asked for this kind of continual encroachment. If they can ban or restrict some things that are bad for you, why not others? Of course, the bureaucrats will never realize that the markets are actually king in almost every society. If they try to clamp down on fast food for example, the market will just adjust and move. If they try to ban any popular product, it will just go underground. I am surprised they have not yet attempted to ban tobacco. The black market folks are just salivating over that prospect.
