Notice the big difference. It is so obvious. There is a “debate” whether or not it’s OK to depict Catholics negatively in films. But for Jews, it’s automatically antisemitism. That’s garbage. Obviously you could have a movie that depicts violent terrible Jews of history… that’s not a stereotype …that happened. To think otherwise would be some form of a supremacist. There are movies that can depict Catholics in a negative way and be historically accurate.. this is obvious.

It ain’t the end of the world but this kind of stuff is unfortunate. Google AI has a lot of benefits. OK, but even like CNN or Fox News they can get things wrong. And they are wrong here. What you see stated above from Google is very much something that makes no sense at all.

Obviously in the first place we’re all human. Whatever our religion is we can see that all throughout history their are good people and bad people in every group. Hell there’s prisons in Israel… prisons in catholic majority countries.

There are tons and tons of negative depictions of Catholics in Hollywood. I mean perhaps it doesn’t matter, considering the greatness and glory of the Catholic Church and all the poor people that they have helped.

I’m sure most folks notice that type of behavior it’s a typical slimy way to never actually address an issue.

I’m betting a higher percentage of non Jews believe things like one religious group is worse than another throughout the entirety of human history. And they actually really believe that. If this were the Roman Empire and Catholics were being fed to lions you’d have a point. Buy to try and equate the last 70 years of Jewish history to that of Catholics looking for sympathy and an equal level of consideration is just ridiculous.

The big picture? Yes, I do think we have a problem. The facts you originally posted seem to be facts. There are a large number of conservative intellectuals I have come across who are convinced of a Jewish conspiracy.

How do people arrive at their current point of view? I submit to you that it has MUCH to do with our media and what people consume. There were some famous Saturday Night Live skits aimed at making Jewish people less of a target for hate. That was in the 70's and 80's.

The ironic thing is that it was the Christians who advocated for the Jewish communities for many years. It is what Jesus taught, isn't it?

I do not fear the Jewish the same way I do not fear true Islamists: at least they believe in our Father. Our interpretations are in dispute.

What I do fear are the Communists (Russia, China, North Korea, South Africa, many others...): They attack all religion, even the most benign, such as Falun Gong.
