The far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) plans to campaign on calls for the country to quit the European Union, the Paris climate agreement and the euro currency ahead of the early election expected in February.

The policies are spelled out in the AfD's draft party platform, which will be discussed and voted on by AfD members at a national party conference on January 11 to 12
.

Will be interesting to see if the Germans are fed up too and vote AfD. The EU and the climate hoax has just made the Germans vastly worse off. Will they undo all the mess they've suffered!!

I don't see it happening. Germany giving up on its little Fourth Reich project is not very likely.

Germany can't keep the project alive without the US, and that is going to depend on Trump's next move against the war. That is, if he's still the president after Jan. 20?

Zelensky too seems to be making preparations:

I think that Trump will be allowed to demand a freeze on the war, but not much more. Trump won't understand that's what the Pentagon wants right now.

Zelensky said it could potentially serve as a foundation for a ceasefire. “If we want to stop the hot phase of the war, we need to take under the NATO umbrella the territory of Ukraine that we have under our control,” he said.

“We need to do it fast. And then on the [occupied] territory of Ukraine, Ukraine can get them back in a diplomatic way,” he added.

He's thinking that Putin would agree with a freeze, while Putin has little incentive to negotiate now that Putin has the military capability to take what he pleases.
