When I was a naive teenager, I dreamed of living in Sweden.

At that time in the 1950s, Sweden was famous for its successful combination of capitalism and socialism.

And all the people were Swedes!!!

Then tragedy struck.

1.President Bush invaded Iraq.
2. The Middle East fell apart.
3. Tens of thousands of refugees flooded into Europe.
4.The kind-hearted lady leader of Germany suggested that Sweden welcome some of the refugees.
5. Now look at Sweden!
