I'm glad to see that Minnesota State Police are being allowed to do their jobs.

I have to say, if they had been doing their jobs at the protests at which Rene Good and Nurse Pretti assaulted ICE officers and lost their lives, those deaths might have been prevented.

I'm from Iowa and haven't been to Minneapolis since the George Floyd insurrection and now that they're doing this don't plan on going back ever.

Where was your outrage when Lieutenant Michael Byrd, a capitol police officer, murdered Ashli Babbitt?

He was only capitol police and should have had the following:

1. Why was Lieutenant Michael Byrd not in a uniform identifying himself as capitol police?

2. Where was his less lethal arms, taser & pepper spray, to subdue an unarmed protester?

3. Where was his bodycam?

Capitol Police should be setting the example for ALL the police forces in the United States. Not by being in a three piece suit where they can not be identified as a police officer and they should all be properly trained and equipped with all the latest police gadgets. This will be the shot that was heard around the country when all is said and done with.
