There you have it folks! Thousands of federal employees unhappy about their fate are having no problem commuting to Tesla dealerships for protests! They couldn't be bothered to show up for work when they were collecting a paycheck courtesy of the tax payer..... But they have become alarm clock automatons in behalf of the rescue of their no-show jobs. Proof positive that they are indeed capable of keeping a schedule.

I wonder if any of them actually realized the irony of their own actions? Probably not.

Ironically, Musk had long ago identified (and solved) the contradiction between high speed rail and localized transportation service (by suggesting detachable underground pods that could enter and exit specific locations without making an entire train have to stop each time).

This advice was ignored, of course, because the first priority of any major project in California is to provide kickbacks to Democrat political supporters. Thus, completion is to be delayed as long as possible, and practicality is not even a consideration.

I hope DOGE audits the hell out of this failed project, and demands that California refund every federal dollar it received for it.
