"'Fear and anger': California town halls are not going well for Democrats, either

Americans are increasingly concerned about President Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s gutting of the federal government, with polls showing a majority of people want Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency cuts to be stopped or slowed down. That’s left Republicans largely avoiding constituents, but it also hasn’t been good news for Democrats in California.

California Democrats were lambasted at a series of town halls over the past week, with constituents demanding the party do more to stand up to billionaire Musk’s cuts to government services.

ā€œI want to know why in the world the Democratic Party hasn’t fought yet?ā€ asked one resident at a town hall Rep. Ro Khanna hosted in the Inland Empire on Sunday. Khanna, whose district includes Sunnyvale, Cupertino and Milpitas, hosted events in three Republican-held districts in the Central Valley and Orange County over the weekend. At each one, Politico said, Democrats ā€œwere unambiguously being put on blast.ā€"

The Democrat leadership is stuck with the radical leftist base that they built. They cannot jettison their main platform- DEI, woke, open borders, and Hamas, which has been rejected by the majority of Americans.

This article is probably mostly true, but the writer has their head in their ass. Khanna's district is the SF bay area which is NOT the central valley or Orange County. Why wouldn't she hold those town halls in her district. The writer also mentions the Inland Empire--an area that comprises San Bernardino and Riverside counties which are both 300 miles away from the bay area as is Orange County. LOL and OC is a conservative enclave. Democrats have more problems than they know.

My neighbor is a Trump voting federal worker. He says the mostly liberals he works with are FREAKING OUT. :auiqs.jpg:
Your trump voting friend is riding on the same train.

They are in a huge panic at seeing the government tit officially closed.
