"'Fear and anger': California town halls are not going well for Democrats, either
Americans are increasingly concerned about President Donald Trump and Elon Muskās gutting of the federal government, with polls showing a majority of people want Muskās Department of Government Efficiency cuts to be stopped or slowed down. Thatās left Republicans largely avoiding constituents, but it also hasnāt been good news for Democrats in California.
California Democrats were lambasted at a series of town halls over the past week, with constituents demanding the party do more to stand up to billionaire Muskās cuts to government services.
āI want to know why in the world the Democratic Party hasnāt fought yet?ā asked one resident at a town hall Rep. Ro Khanna hosted in the Inland Empire on Sunday. Khanna, whose district includes Sunnyvale, Cupertino and Milpitas, hosted events in three Republican-held districts in the Central Valley and Orange County over the weekend. At each one, Politico said, Democrats āwere unambiguously being put on blast.ā"
The Democrat leadership is stuck with the radical leftist base that they built. They cannot jettison their main platform- DEI, woke, open borders, and Hamas, which has been rejected by the majority of Americans.
