You don't know much about economics, do you?

The US inflation rate bounces between 1% and 2.5% depending on the month. I could give a shit less about the rest of the world.

Inflation is the word used to define paying more for products that we previously did.

In March of last year, when people were returning back to work, and we had three new Trump vaccines out, Dementia and his fellow commies passed additional federal unemployment benefits which for many, meant they'd get paid more to stay home than work. In our state (Ohio) they calculated that between state and fed unemployment, it was equal income to working people making 57K per year when you exclude taxes that you don't pay on any unemployment.

Industry in need of employees had to compete with government for workers, greatly increasing their pay offers. At the same time, Dementia attacked our fuel industry increasing the cost by over double. Not only did industries have to increase the price of their products and services because of labor, they also had to increase their prices for utilities to run the company. But wait! Transportation companies also had to greatly increase their rates as well because of diesel fuel prices, and that too gets added to the cost of products and services.

Now we add in the spending on worthless green projects that weaken the dollar. You have all the makings for inflation we haven't see in over 40 years, and Dementia is responsible for every aspect of it.
