Benjamin Song, accused in the July 4 ambush at the detention center, was captured at a Dallas apartment

A man on the FBI’s Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive list was arrested Tuesday evening in North Dallas, ending an 11-day manhunt.

Benjamin Song, 32, was taken into custody without incident at an apartment complex along Meadowcreek Drive, the FBI confirmed. He was wanted in connection with the July 4 shooting at the Prairieland Detention Center in Johnson County.

Authorities said Song was armed with a rifle and a pistol at the time of his arrest. Neighbors reported hearing what sounded like gunshots and seeing a large police presence in tactical gear.

ā€œIt was bang, bang, bang, bang, bang. Nine, ten. I have no idea how many shots, because once you hear shots going off it’s just I’ve got to get inside,ā€ said Michael Taylor, who watched the arrest from his balcony.

Just the number involved in the attack is a pretty big deal.

Of course the biggest threat we face is from right-wing extremism.....Right, right?

I wonder if he was one of those 50,000 Chinese nationalists that poured over the border in Biden's last year? :dunno:
