Do you remember those Famous Amos Cookies? He passed away at age 88....He had quite a story even featured on History Channel...

I remember him pushing his cart up and down the streets of Hollywood and the Sunset strip... then people began coming out of their offices to buy cookies... so he started going inside...
Then he opened a small bakery/cookie shop on Sunset Blvd... the rest is history....

Raised my kid on those cookies.

They changed the formula and packaging right after the pandemic and then I quit buying them. . .

They were the only ones in the store for a good price, that actually had real egg and real butter in them. All the other national brands did not have real egg and real butter listed as the primary ingredients.

If you wanted a good cookie, then you had to buy something like Pepperidge Farm cookies, and that can get expensive if you are raising a kid.

It really was about quality.
