These fools have to stop pretending the world is all sunshine and rainbows. They pushed the "climate danger" for decades as it was easy money for government and donors. These fools undermined their own energy (not France, they were smart enough to expand nuclear power) and manufacturing. This manufacturing expertise is unique to each country and allows the most innovative to expand their military.

I love peace too. I wish we didn't have to spend so much on the military. With the Axis expanding at will, unconcerned about their citizens social programs, Europe has to hold their own.
