You should go into internet options/security settings and enter the website onto web sites that you want the security program to allow unrestricted access...

On a site as lenient as USMB, you should expect some intermittent bugs hidden in innocent looking links.

Google dropped support of Java...It was conflicting with Chrome's own script reader...
