She had some very intelligent things to say with respect to her analysis of how previously disaffected voters impacted the 2024 election. I was impressed with her until the subject of the 2020 election came up. Specifically, the subject of whether trump had conceded the election to Biden.

It's as though the topic flipped a switch in her head causing her to lie repeatedly about her fictitious belief, or maybe it was really just an assertion, he had conceded.

I couldn't help thinking about the incongruence of an otherwise bright, competent woman who clearly had a grasp on reality right up until she didn't. It made me realize the depth to which people involved in POT politics are not allowed to speak the truth about a variety of subjects if they want to remain in good standing with Don.

Which in turn reminded me of this bit of clownish, disturbing, blind subservience.

She was the one who explained how Trump won. He didn't win any group under the age of 50. Not women under 50, latinos, arabs, blacks, gays. But he won over enough of them to tip the scales.

And it wasn't Republican leaning, Democratic leaning voters or even independents. It was low propensity voters. People who never voted before. People who always thought it didn't matter. Both sides are corrupt. Well, Trump ran on that. He beat the Republicans in 2016 because both sides suck and he won this time the very same way.

I give Trump credit for getting more people to vote. I have always said it's better when more people vote. When people stay home, we don't know which way they would go if they had to vote. I think it's important to know even if I don't like their decision. One day they'll change. They'll wake up.
