Of course, I'll have to remain so for 3 months straight but if it does then we'll have a nina later this year. Chances I'll say are probably 30% at the moment. If we somehow get the second hottest year this year I'll be amazed.

Well, we have had a very warm first 1/2 to the year on a neutral ENSO, so if we ended up with a year in the top five with half in neutral ENSO and half in La Nina, that would be an indication of just how much we have warmed.
