Egyptian Cease Fire Plan

Any way, but the point is, jews can defend holy land or they will run away like 100 time in the past, look how palestinian are standing in front of israeli occupation, Israeli using fighter plan, gunship helicopter, tanks and even ultramodern guns.

As of 6:00 am CDST here in the States, the truce seems to be holding.

Hell, it's been an entire six or seven hours so far, without any killing.

Somebody call Guiness.

So, basically, did Hamas just accept the same Egyptian Cease-Fire Plan that they rejected three weeks ago?

Could Hamas have spared hundreds, or a thousand or more, Gazan civilian lives, by accepting those same terms, three weeks ago?

Yesterday afternoon - US CDST - I watched a CNN commentator, Anderson Cooper, ask that same question of the Palestinian representative to the United States, Maen Areikat.

( All Things Anderson: Anderson Cooper 360 Live from Ashkelon, Israel on Monday, August 4, 2014 - the 5th video on the page - labeled 'Anderson's interview with Maen Areikat'... )

As with most Palestinian answers, when confronted with a direct question, he prevaricated and twisted and squirmed on the hook, but dared not answer the question affirmatively, instead, resorting to three insubstantial distinctions, in a pathetic and transparent attempt to portray the present Egyptian terms as anything substantively different from those offered three weeks ago.

None of these evasive bastards dare give a straight answer to any question of substance which does not result in a favorable impression of the Palestinians and Hamas - which speaks volumes for their veracity and trustworthiness.

As long as the Palestinian people themselves allow Hamas to continue to get them massacred, it's okay by me, for only they, the Palestinian people, can put an end to Hamas.
