Hey, peeps - just a head's up on an e-mail virus that's making the rounds. It purports to be from FedEx, has two attachments, one of which is labeled "Invoice". My security flashed up a virus warning when I went to open it.

I called FedEx and was told someone else had already reported it and their fraud department was looking into it.

You might be careful if you receive any unexpected e-mails from "FedEx" advising you of a shipment.

I got that. Opened it too  Knew it was going to be a virus and I opened it to see b/c I knew my anti-virus would stop it, and it did. :)

I don't even open envelopes that say "Invoice".

Want me to send it to you to see if your anti-virus works as well??

Here's what I do when I get an invoice:

This one again. It was very prevalent around Christmas time last year with emails from the post office and UPS.

Basic rule is don't click on anything in an email unless you know the person sending it real well.

No company will send you an attachement anymore by email. No sensible person opens them
