I was not expecting much from this eight-part series, but it is suprisingly good.
This show takes place in 1972 just as the Watergate scandal is breaking.
Josh Holloway (Jim Ellis), who was part of a love triangle on the Lost series, plays a driver for a gangster played by Brian Keith (Ezra Saxton).
J. Edgar Hoover is dead, so the FBI has begun integrating.
A very cute Rachel Hilson (Nina Hayes) is one of the first black agents, and she requests to work in the FBI Phoenix office because that is where Ezra Saxton is operating. It turns Ezra Saxton killed her father in Philadelphia several years prior and she is hell bent on sending him to prison.
It is Nina's aim to recruit Jim as an informer, the only problem being Jim is very loyal to his boss.
Cameos by Nixon, Howard Hughes, and Colonel Parker.
The actress Adrienne Barbeau has a small role as the wife of a former FBI agent who lost his mind. In her day, Barbeau was smoking hot. The funny bit is there is an actress who plays the 1970s Adrienne Barbeau.
Good show.
