Remember the Republicans out there with elderly and disabled military in wheelchairs crying that denying them access to their monuments was a disgrace?
Remember how many times Republicans have said they were the "Party for the Veterans"?

Commander: keep Senate bill focused on vets | The American Legion
American Legion National Commander Daniel M. Dellinger said Wednesday that sanctions against Iran have no place in a U.S. Senate debate over legislation that aims to expand health care, education opportunities, employment and other benefits for veterans.
“Iran is a serious issue that Congress needs to address, but it cannot be tied to S. 1982, which is extremely important as our nation prepares to welcome millions of U.S. military servicemen and women home from war. This comprehensive bill aims to help veterans find good jobs, get the health care they need and make in-state tuition rates applicable to all who are using their GI Bill benefits.
Bernie Sanders Blasts Republicans For Trying to Torpedo Veterans Bill With Iran Sanctions
Sen. Bernie Sanders blasted Senate Republicans today for trying to betray the nationÂ’s veterans by attempting to kill the veterans bill with a demand for sanctions against Iran.

It's not about sanctions against Iran. That could be done with a separate bill. This is about Republicans once again trying to screw over the veterans. They didn't even pay for the last war. Republicans are planning for the next one and hoping to screw over the veterans all in one neat little package.
