Duel...

Dennis Weaver was Mr. Everyman in that made-for-TV 1971 movie.

They never showed the truckers face - which accentuated the evilness...................................

Evil tends to be anonymous.

Yep. It was also the first movie from the director...some unknown dude named Spielberg! :D

I have only seen it once, but by god that truck freaked me out! Brilliant movie, it was!

And especially fascinating since it was pretty much just one person...Weaver...for the whole movie. One guy, mostly in his car, alone. Trippy.

Most people would have shot the trucker in the face.................

Blpwn trhe truckersbrains out............................................

Yeah I remember watching this when it came out. Scared the crap outta me. Today I'd probably laugh through it. But at the time it was a good'n.

M ost people would have blown the truckers brains out,

Since watching that, and Terminator 2, I still get frightened when a truck comes up too close behind me.

Just remember... objects in mirror are closer than they appear.

You speaking of the lizard hookers? Oh wait, you said blown the trucker BRAINS out...ah. Nevermind.

Duel's a Great movie.
One of those that when surfing around I'll always stop on and watch...(Jaws is another one.)
I never get tired of it.

It was always on channels with commercials so I bought it on dvd and it is much more effective watching straight through.
