‘Since SSA installed new anti-fraud checks on claims made over the phone, only two claims out of over 110,000 were found to likely be fraudulent, according to internal documents obtained by Nextgov/FCW.

After installing anti-fraud checks for benefit claims made over the phone early last month, the Social Security Administration is considering walking back the policy after finding only two cases that had a high probability of being fraudulent.
[…]
“No significant fraud has been detected from the flagged cases,” the internal document said.’

Of course not.

The meritless attack on Social Security has nothing to do with addressing non-existent ‘fraud,’ it has to do with the right’s unwarranted hostility to a program that’s necessary, proper, and successful.

At least it's good to know that someone's looking into waste, fraud, and abuse. It never would have been investigated under a Harris/Walz administration.

Let's see what DOGE reports

Your whole post is a fraud, you say both that they found fraud and you know there has been found fraud (unless you think there are 200 year old people amongst us) other than this phone method, but then state a contradicting statement of "non-existent ‘fraud,’ "
This is as dumb as when your party stated there were ZERO illegals voting, Saying no people voted more than once or in multiple states, no dead voters, and Bagdad Bob said there were no troops at Baghdad Airport.

SSA has been doing a good job at covering up their fraud, I guess that's good for them.

The main fraud with SSA are fake disabled people collecting checks because they say they are unable to work.
Welfare is the biggest fraud ever created.

Finding any fraud is good, isn't it??

Was it not enough to you? So you feel fraud has to reach a certain level to be relevant? Fecking hell.
