NEW: DHS confirms that the suspect arrested for killing a mom & her daughter in a head on car crash in the sanctuary state of New Jersey is a Mexican illegal alien who had been arrested for two DUIs in NJ in April & March, and had a domestic violence arrest in NJ in 2023.

Raul Luna Perez has now been charged with two counts of vehicular homicide after police in Lakewood, NJ say he crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed head on into another car, killing Maria Pleitez and her 11-year-old daughter Dayanara Cortes. ICE has placed a detainer on him with local law enforcement.

DHS says he entered the US illegally as a gotaway at an unknown time & location.
