Two relevant cases about ICE lying regarding use of deadly force.
In Minnesota, ICE shot an injured a suspect after claiming they were attacked by three people with brooms and shovels. Charges of assault were filed against the suspects.
Flash forward a few weeks, the DoJ is moving to dismiss charges with prejudice saying “newly discovered evidence in this matter is materially inconsistent with the allegations”. In other words, they lied to the court.
In a case from last summer, a ICE claimed they fired upon a woman claiming they were under attack by her as she rammed her car into the ICE vehicle and "boxed them in". Charges of assault were filed against the suspects.
Prosecutors also moved to dismiss those charges, but didn't give a reason why.
The woman's lawyers eventually convinced a judge to release ICE bodycam footage. In it, you can see the ICE agent turning their wheel sharply to the left before impact is made, indicating ICE rammed her and then used it as pretext to shoot her.

If this administration actually cared about the country, they would seek accountability from the ICE agents for these actions. Instead, these people are going to be praised and rewarded.

Border Patrol agents say 'time to get aggressive' in footage that contradicts claims against Marimar Martinez
Martinez is expected to announce a new lawsuit stemming from her Oct. 4 shooting by a Border Patrol agent at a press conference Wednesday. Her attorneys say newly released evidence will show an agent lied to the FBI about firing five shots into her front windshield.
