David Lee Roth had some memorable songs when in Van Halen, his guitarist could actually play and Roth had a real passion for rock music and the lifestyle. He was the member of an actually band with some talent.

Kiss was a gimmick. They had 2-3 songs worth listening to once in awhile and I could learn the guitar chords on my first day of playing. They weren't really artists, but entertainers.

Either way. all of them are well past their best before dates, especially as all of them look haggard and frail.
