Darkstar gets the hell out of Dodge.

Thats fuckin badass!!!! Ive seen many different fighter planes take off, but none of them come close to that acceleration.
I've watched tons of unrestricted climbs by F-16's and they still blow Me away. But that. Ho Li Fuk.

I was an airman in the Navy, and in Lemoore California i watched just about every military plane in the US military take off. I even saw our U2 spy plane take off one night. They shut down all flight ops and everyone was called in from the flightline and told to go inside, which was SUPER unusual, so a couple of us snuck out to see what the fuck was going on, and we saw what they were hiding from us. This was in like 1993, or around there.

We used to drive up to Beale AFB and watch the SR71's depart. The sound along rattles your entire body.

Fuck, im very stoned right now. As soon as you said that, i realized that it wasnt a fucking U2 spyplane, it was an SR71. I have no idea why U2 popped in my head, let alone how I typed it out without it clicking.

It was dark, but we knew what it was based on the sound of its engines, the distance between the two engines and the length of the afterburners. There isnt another plane with that signature in the US military, or at least not back then. F-14's were somewhat similar, but definitely not the same, and we were VERY familiar with 14s. We knew a 14 just by the sound that it makes (loud as a motherfucker). We knew 18s very well too (much quieter than 14s). They flew over us all day long.
