This is a follow up to my earlier thread "mind controlled cockroaches".
The mad scientists have taken it a step further.
What happens here, is they have robots assembling cyborg insects.
It takes about a minute for the robot to implant the mind control device in the insect.
After that humans can control the direction and speed of the cockroach or flying insect.
I swear this is the perfect weapon. Who needs nukes? Just overwhelm the enemy with cockroaches!
There's a little camera in the implant, so humans can watch cockroach TV. Great for recon. Who would know?

Cyborg insect factory: automatic assembly for insect-computer hybrid robot via vision-guided robotic arm manipulation of custom bipolar electrodes - Nature Communications
Insect–computer hybrid robots offer promise for navigating complex terrain. Here, the authors developed a vision-guided robotic system to automatically assemble hybrid robots with custom electrodes, enabling scalable production while maintaining effective locomotion control
