but I learned long ago how many Jews can look the other way when it suits a purely partisan political or ideological thing. As a young man I truly believed that Jews worldwide lived the "Never Forget" thing. I never saw the caveats attached.

The British Colonials in North America started a rebellion with extra-legal shit. I've long thought the war was unnecessary. What the Colonials in NA sought, was coming. The bloodshed, the cost of lives, the turning on neighbors, friends, family was not worth the cost, and the founding generation knew it.
How so?
They stuck together with huge differences because of one thing -- they did not want the experiment to fail. Once the nation moved further away from that -- we had a second civil war.

Most of the Jew haters are Progressives from their actions. Most of the Prog Jewish politicians are Jew haters from their agendas. So, either they will sell out their own or if the Republicans who support Jews stop doing so and we see their true colors out of necessity. Jewish men and women going to schools and public places did not deserve what we have seen here.
