in my experiences, there have been very few political leaders in Canada who are black this much I have noticed as much as this observation is anecdotal in nature. I don't know if this pecu!iar pattern is a reflecrion of racism or not but no judge would overturn the covert system of nepotism regardless of merits or lack thereof in such a pursuit. We dont need division in Canada alomg any lines,.racial or otherwise, but we do need transparency and accountability. Also, as an aside, it is odd that the CBC website defaults my location to Ottawa when I live half a province away. Just a statement of fact to consider... Hmmm https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/court-dismisses-black-class-action-public-service-1.7486684.
A Federal Court judge on Monday dismissed a motion to certify a proposed class-action lawsuit launched by Black public servants in 2020 who alleged there was systemic racism within the public service.
In an "order and reasons" document, Justice Jocelyne Gagné said the case did not sufficiently meet the class-action requirement that the claims raise common issues.
Gagné also said the scope of the plaintiffs' claim "simply makes it unfit for a class procedure."
