We have a conceal and carry here in Idaho, and no deaths of an officer.
Not sure how the left can explain that.

The issue is that inner city and urban areas are more likely to be violent. 200,000 is the largest city in Idaho, Idaho is one of four US cities in the top 100 sized cities in the US with a murder rate below 1.0 per 100,000 people, probably due to rural nature of the area around.
There's not such thing that a gun causes crime. However it can change the humans. It can take someone who might not commit a crime without a gun and allow them to feel empowered with a gun.
