What do you think could be possible in the future with hyper tech we don't even know about yet? This is a bit of an imagination exercise. Will it be possible to regulate it all and stop lunatics from abusing it and causing unimaginable damage? Will one person ever be capable of leveling a city with something they built in their garage? If so, how do you stop collapse?

This is something Deep State has considered from a long time ago .
It is part reason why they wish to depopulate by around 90%.
Only around 10% maximum will be required in terms of effective slave requirements and these need to be fully controlled -- Digital ID chip implants etc

I suspect major moves toward Transhumanism will be tied to predictive ability coming from Quantum computers -- likelihood of events happening can be analysed in terms of real probability before the Event Stream materialises.
Then the old spectre arises -- being arrested for a crime in advance of it happening because its occurrence has been computed , say , at 98% certain .
