Not trying to sell a Jewish conspiracy but Germany wanted Russia out of WWI to transfer troops to the western front. Lenin made the deal with Germany and he needed funding. It may have been from other sources. But I do recall reading somewhere that Trotsky's wife had some sort of banking connections.

When he and his fellow so-called "peace activists" got their way and Congress betrayed South Vietnam, he had nothing to say when the North Vietnamese proceeded to execute tens of thousands of South Vietnamese, sent over 800,000 others to concentration camps, and imposed a repressive dictatorship on the South.
