They are trying to take over through autocorrect. Get your muskets.Sometimes my spell check puts in the British version on words...I have no idea why?
i have lived in Newcastle upon Tyne once.
I used a program that gave me the choice of British or American English, and when emailing my English friend, I clicked the British version. It was a fun learning experience for me.
I also loved learning, from my friend, Northern English slang, and teaching her American slang. Speaking in that slang and even trying to adopt a proper accent when I visited England was FUN!
