The lesson China should learn from the latest developments is that Russia is a very weak ally and one that in truth will be of no help to China in case of War with the West......thuis if they were smarrt they would take advantage of a weakened Russia and grab some much needed territory for farmland to help feed their huge population.

Russia would not use Nukes.....China knows that better than anyone.

They have fought before and both nations know the other is not their friend.....all this alliance b.s. was just propaganda that served both nations for awhile.

China desperately needs more land.....a great opportunity exists now for them to take it without any repercussions whatsoever.....why risk a confrontation with the West over taiwan when theyo could easily gobble up much needed land with no fear of repercussions from anyone.

Russia had no need to invade china to begin with.....but you grossly under estimate Chinas military capability back then as well as now.

China even before it became a major power fought America to a stand still in Korea.

They would have little or no difficulty grabbing Russian land....and if done cleverly there would not even be protests from Russia....all the chinese would need to do would be to use some forceful diplomatic skills aka make Russia a offer they could not refuse.

Look at how they have bought up land here in America.
