Child predators usually don't fair well with longevity in a prison.

Child predators usually don't fair well with longevity in a prison.

A lot of states have set up"special needs yards" where molesters, snitches and gang dropouts are put for their own safety.

The cops don't have much sympathy for these molesters, but they don't like the idea of lockdowns and paperwork after one of them gets their wig split either.

Lockdowns are a lot more work for the staff as guards are expected to provide room service to the cons instead of just having them come down to the chow hall.

Trending on political motivated sentencing to life in prison or nearing such, as punishment for less than extreme crimes.

I'm proud to say that in Canada this would have resulted in a penalty of no more than perhaps 5 years, but including most of the emphasis on rehabilitation. Nearly always successful rehab!

America is starting to make conspicuous choices on many or most issues that involve politics!

Why should they get that kind of special treatment when they made it as clear as glass that they couldn't give such special treatment to people on the outside of the prison building? Instead, they were too busy giving people the wrong kind of special treatment!

Giving these fellows special treatment is less work for the guards than not doing so.

You would understand it if you worked in a prison and was forced to do room service for everyone in the joint during post-mele lockdowns.

^^^ If the guards are not willing to deal with what their job is supposed to entail, why are they working such a position in the first place? If they want to be more like a bellhop, the last time that I checked, this planet still has plenty of hotels. I don't mean to sound harsh, but at the end of the day, considering the fact that those who have prison sentences have them at all for severe enough reasons, an actual prison is what the prison should be, not a vacation resort facility.
