I do know Charlie had a thing for getting his foot in the door in Hollywood musically, went after one of the Beach Boys to help him out, and blamed Brian Wilson for his not getting a big guitar album contract.

Makes you wonder who the Beatles, Doors, and Stones might have killed had we not bought all their albums.
